Here in Oxford, we understand the worldwide interest in this historic University Town. Many people wish to produce documents and publications about various aspects of the City and frequently need suitable images to add interest to their work. Where possible, we aim to help such authors by providing high quality digital images for this purpose.

We offer two services whereby you can either commission a new photograph or gain permission to use one of our existing photographs.

Because of our experience in using digital camera and scanning equipment, we are also able to offer a further service for transferring existing images into a wide variety of electronic formats and to place these onto CD ROM. 

Commission a Photograph

By using this service you can request a photograph of a particular location, building or feature to be found within the city of Oxford or the County of Oxfordshire. 

Obtain Permission to use an Image found on this Site

All images used within this site have been produced by the site owner and are subject to Copyright. However, on payment of a small fee, images can be made available for use in your own productions.

Transfer of Photographic Images to Electronic Media

Both Negative and Positive Images can be transferred into digital format and stored on CD ROM according to the Customers Requirements.
